In southern Croatia, the Dalmatia holiday region extends from Zadar to the Bay of Kotor with many islands along the Adriatic. Well -known cities are the cultural metropolis city of Split and the beautiful Dubrovnik.
The most beautiful playground are of course sea and the beach. Most of them are from pebbles or rocky, but there are also some sandy beaches: e.g. in Lumbarda in Korčula, in the Bay of Saharun on Dugi Otok or around the lagoon in front of the town.
Here, too, the following applies: Who does not be enough, the interior turns to the interior. South of Šibenik, Falkner Emilio Mendjušić demonstrates his daily work to an enthusiastic audience: eagles and falcons, buzzards and hawks can be observed in their artistic flight maneuvers. Split is just a short hour of auto, in popular the capital of Dalmatia. The Roman emperor Diocletian had his retirement seat built here. This is more exciting than it sounds: Diocletian's palace became a scaffold for the following generations. They built on and around - and today there are churches, houses and shops in the palace.
