Bohemian Forest

Not only the music (like an ancient hit hit) comes from Bohemia, but also a wonderful cuisine. Not necessarily light, but typical (and delicious!) Specialties are dumplings and roast pork, for dessert there is powidlascherl, i.e. with plum pockets - that tastes good for the whole family!
The leisure offer is no less rich: to see and experience the UNESCO city of Český Krumlov, the "Venice on the Moldova", or the many locks in southern Bohemia. You can walk for hours at Lipnostausee or ride a bike. In addition, a high ropes course, tree top path and a rail toboggan run that can be accessed all year round ensure fun and variety.
The Bohemian Forest is an extensive mountain range on the border of Czech Republic to Germany and Austria. The 125 km long mountain range is the largest coherent forest mountains in Central Europe and is also referred to as the "green lungs in Europe".

is characterized by deep forests, raised bogs, pagans, wild mountain rivers, glacier lakes and peaks. Even people who do not call themselves hiking freaks will be enthusiastic about this region because it offers countless opportunities on tempting tours. The largest tourist center is Zelezna Ruda.

Lead over the up to 1,400 meter high mountain combs, along green meadow slopes and river banks. You can hike here for days or weeks and always discover magical landscape formations.

Through the picturesque corners of the Bohemian Forest from Nove Udoli near Cerna V Posumavi to Nova Pec-Horni Plana-Cerna V Posumavi-Horice Na Sumave-Cesky Krumlov and back.
