In the restored old town, centuries -old defenders, Spanish merchant palaces and narrow streets lined with oleander. The Church of S. Francesco in the Gothic-Catalan style with a beautiful Romanesque cloister is probably the most beautiful of the whole island.

The church of Grazie, the cathedral as well as the Landkirchen Valverde and Della Solitudine, in which the remains of Grazia Deleddas are located.
A mountain village, the houses of which are adorned with the naive wall paintings (""Murales"") typical of Sardinia.
The oldest church of San Nicola and the San Vincenzo, built in Romanesque-Gothic style, are interesting. The nearby Nuraghen complex Arrubiu is the most impressive and most extensive of the whole island. Everywhere on the island there are relics from the Bronze Age. The best known are the circular (sometimes also cone-shaped) Nuraghi stone dwellings. The largest of these settlements from the Bronze Age is in Nuraxi, about 80 km north of Cagliari.
