Apartments & holiday homes for vacation in Brenzone
Brenzone
The municipality of Brenzone at the foot of Monte Baldo comprises 16 small villages and hamlets. Everyone has retained their originality and an incomparable charm. You will be enchanted.
Many small jewelry ...
Brenzone consists of about fifteen larger and smaller hamlets. Castelletto, Magugnano (here is the town hall), Porto and Assenza are located along the coast of Lake Garda. On the other hand, there are biasa, fiber, Marniga (and even above, Campo, a fascinating medieval hamlet), Boccino, Venzo, Castello, Zignago, Borago, Pozzo and Sommavilla a little further up. It is a long series of small hamlets in which the tourism structures (a little more than forty hotels, a dozen campsites and various holiday residential complexes) are embedded in the centuries -old olive gardens that have dominated the landscape. The excellent and light oil that comes onto the table also comes from these olive gardens.
Loved by sailors ...
The intensive blue of the lake and the green of Monte Baldo determines the holiday scenery. Time seems to have stopped in the old hamlets and paths that float between the lake and the mountain. On the waves of the lake, the sails of the sailing lovers or the international world champion, who are at home here, dance in the wind. This is rightly regarded for one of the most beautiful natural schools for sailing and surfing. Brenzone does not only mean the lake. There are also mountains here. Prada, one of the hamlets, lies in the heart of Monte Baldo. From the coast, the paths lead up to here, which have been followed by shepherds and wooden shabiers in the past centuries. It is extremely fascinating to follow this path and to get from the olive garden to the chestnut trees. Then you can go up to the summit with the lifts of Prada-Costabella and enjoy a wonderful view of the lake from there.
Water sports
Brenzone is primarily called sailing. The local boat associations organize important international regattas. Surfsport is also widespread.
Mountain biking and hiking
About a dozen on paths invite you to hike and mountain biking between the lake and Monte Baldo. In June, the hike is organized under the topic ""From the olive trees to the daffodils"".
Events
The lively crossroads on Good Friday on the path from Castelletto to Biasa is terrific. Many traditional folk festivals are also held (in Castello on July 11, in Marniga on August 16, in Castelletto on November 25th in Magugnano on January 20). The event ""Music under the olive trees"" will take place in Campo on August 10th.
Golf
There are currently 5 golf courses on Lake Garda, which are becoming increasingly popular. The environment is unique of almost all systems. Golfing on Lake Garda means joy in the Mediterranean hilly landscape between olive groves and cypresses, in the background the water of the lake glitters, which almost resembles the sea.
The golf courses are largely in a top state, juicy, well-groomed green and original design show that this sport is very important on the southern edge of the Alps.
The places are generally open all year round, German and Austrian players are also drawn to the evergreen fairways in winter. Typical for Italian golf courses is a day of rest a week (mostly Sunday). In addition, the fairways are only available at certain times, e.g. at lunchtime. All systems are coupled to hotels, enjoying green fairy as a hotel guest. The prices are very different depending on the season and space, but can be compared with German prices.
